Sicilia Film Commission joined the Green Film network of international partners and now is a member of the network of European regional and national film commissions and funds that use a common approach for the development of an environmentally sustainable audiovisual sector. 

Sicilia Film Commission, in collabotation with ARPA Sicilia,  incentivizes audiovisual production companies to obtain the Green Film certification in order to reduce the environmental impact of productions, by assigning 2 extra points in the evaluation of their project.
