Like a midsummer night’s dream, Green Film is increasingly encouraging environmental sustainability in audiovisual production: here are three new releases for July.
These productions obtained the Green Film certification and we wish them every success.
The film, directed by Nicola Conversa, was shot entirely in Trentino between May and June 2023 thanks to the collaboration of Trentino Film Commission.
”Un oggi alla volta” is a One More Pictures production with Vision Distribution in collaboration with Rai Cinema and Sky. It will be released in cinemas on 25 July.
“Un oggi alla volta’” (One Day at a Time), a teen movie about the meeting between Marco and Aria, a story of love and personal growth that reminds us how emotionally difficult it is to be young nowadays, but also how everything becomes lighter with the right people by our side.
A Italy, Sweden and Denmark co-production, produced by Dugong Films and Momento Film, the film is directed by Daniel Espinosa. Winner of the Sven Nykvist Cinematography Award at the Göteborg Film Festival, is released in cinemas on 18 July.
Their journey towards sustenaibility started in 2022 during the first Green Film Lab workshop in Trento.
Inspired by real life events, “Madame Luna” tells the story of an Eritrean refugee who is washed ashore in Libya and survives to become one of the most notorious human smugglers, with deep ties to the Sicilian Mafia.
Produced by K+srl and directed by Corrado Ceron, it has been selected for the Taormina Film Festival and it is released in cinemas on 18 July.
“L’invenzione di noi due” is the story of a relationship that seems to to have reached the end after 20 years. How is it possible to stop loving one another when you have been so close for so long? Milo is determined to win Nadia back and decides to do it the way it did when they first met: writing letters to her…pretending to be another man.
