Green Film Lab in Athens

March 14, 2024

Green Film partners Greek Film Centre and HELLENIC FILM COMMISSION have welcomed the first Green Film Lab workshop of the year, which took place in Athens between the 6th and 8th of March 2024.

The exceptional hospitality fostered a stimulating working environment, thus giving the participants precious tools to work with during this 3-day sustainability workshop.

Among them were many local film professionals and representatives of the public Greek film institutions from the Film Office Central Macedonia and the Greek Ministry of Culture.

Along the year, Green Film Lab proposes several 3-day workshops held in different European regions, addressed to film industry professionals with or without a project, as well as to sustainability managers and film institutions representatives.

Through a practical, project-based and hands-on approach, participants learn how to apply the current best practices in terms of energy-saving, transport, accommodation, catering, set decoration, waste management, recycling and communication and work on drafting a sustainability plan based on the Green Film rating system

Green Film Lab is a programme by TorinoFilmLab and Green Film, organised by National Museum of Cinema and Trentino Film Commission, in collaboration with EAVE. The programme is realised thanks to the support of Creative Europe – MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union
