Federico Bondi’s film was one of the six projects selected at the first edition of the Green Film Lab held in Trento in May 2022. The three-days intensive workshop laid the basis for a first sustainability plan, starting the path that eventually led to the Green Film certification.
An earthquake hits a small town. There are no casualties, but the whole community is forced to flee their homes. As the adult’s struggle to find balance in precarious times, Viola, a ten-year-old girl, imagines the earthquake as a “friend” who forces her to stay outside with the others, discovering the world of adulthood, friendship and a so-far unexplored nature.

In the “Tiburtino III” neighbourhood, in the outer suburbs of Rome, a small asteroid falls from the sky. In the following days, almost everyone in the suburb starts behaving inexplicably oddly: they all suck AA batteries. An improbable group of young characters finds out that many have been infected by some parasites and the aliens intend to conquer the whole world.
