Pietro is a former advertising prodigy who, at almost thirty, is regularly rejected at auditions and makes ends meet by teaching theatre to parish kids. He lives in a modest flat in the diocese with Nicolas, a nurse with a messy and uncaring nature, divorced and a child to care for. When the two risk being evicted by the priest, Nicolas invents the horrendous lie that his tenant is sick with cancer. At first, Pietro suffers helplessly, but then, just when he decides to confess everything, he meets Claudia, a truly sick girl who, despite her serious health condition, exudes vitality. An unbreakable bond is created between the two young people that Pietro does not want to give up. How will he manage his feelings without hurting Claudia?
