Mi-Rae (played by Ryu Ido) is on holiday in Rome with her family. She is a lively and curious child. A trip to the city’s most beautiful monuments and sites leads them to visit the splendid St. Peter’s Basilica, where the little girl’s attention is caught by the words of a priest: ‘Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you’ (Matthew 7:7-14). These will deeply affect Mi-Rae, leading her to make a small, big gesture full of hope.
