The author tells the story of a young boy named Fortunato, who grew up in the streets of Pianura, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Naples, in the early ’80s. The chases on the Califfone, the shootings in broad daylight, and the economic conditions in which his family struggles do not undermine the protagonist’s vitality, who, thanks to his imagination and dreams, does not give up and keeps moving forward.
