At the age of 40, Aldo finds himself facing an unexpected turning point: a victim of ghosting by Alessia, his partner for almost fifteen years, Aldo is in the midst of an existential crisis. On the advice of a friend, he decides to see a psychotherapist to try to unravel the questions that torment him. The meeting with Carlo, an introverted man in his seventies, and the discovery that he too experienced the same situation as Aldo forty years earlier, will be the turning point towards a new awareness and a new phase of life, as well as the likely beginning of a healthy friendship.
